"The pride we have extends far beyond our product." Automation applications require the positioning of a solid object. At speed, the required load is usually only friction. However, the mass of the object results in an increased load during acceleration and deceleration. The stiffness of the positioner is the primary characteristic to resist the inertia-induced forces. Electraulic operation has demonstrated an exceptional ability to respond to rapid load changes. In addition, the hydraulic dampening eliminates the wear of mating parts common in mechanical positioning devices. The heart of the REXA unit is the power module. This component will delivery a bi-directional, variable volume flow of hydraulic oil at 2000 psi. When flow is not required, the oil is locked by integral valving and power is not required. The weight of the smallest module is less than 10 lbs., has a volume under .2 cubic feet (including reservoir) and delivers .17 cubic inches per second of oil. Our largest module weighs 30 lbs., has a volume under .3 cubic feet (including reservoir) and delivers 2.0 cubic inches per second of oil. There are two more intermediate sizes. These highly efficient hydraulic pumping systems are available on their own. Give you any ideas? REXA actuators and drives have been installed in many industries. They do the job that we say they do. The pride we have extends far beyond our product. We are pleased to have brought to process control the highest level of performance. The capabilities of Electraulic Operation may offer similar enhancements to motion control. What is your challenge? -(2 per page)- |
