Applications Can Be Found in all Areas of the Mill.
It is fair to state that the paper industry has the most to gain from Electraulic technology.

For starters, the powerhouse is an easy hit. Our traditional applications such as feedwater valves and dampers will increase efficiency and improve pollution control. Payback can be in a matter of weeks. A Xpac on the turbine bypass/desuperheater valve is the only choice for flatline pressure transition.

The pulper is full of installations where stiffness and immediate response come in handy. Any blowdown tank or liquor line will benefit from hydraulic operation. On grinders, mixers and refiners, the Xpac enhances blade life and simplifies wheel replacement.

Except for basis weight, there is no need for REXA actuators on the machine. BUT what about REXA positioners? Are there any requirements to move large loads and position them within thousands of an inch or tenths of a PLI? Tension control of the web, wire or felt is always a critical issue. The characteristics of the Xpac make this "actuator", the ideal positioner for these installations. Other outstanding applications include the positioning of guide rollers, winders and doctor blades.
