West Bridgewater, MA, USA – REXA, the industry leader in electro-hydraulic actuation technology, was selected to present at Power-Gen International 2018, held at Orange County Convention Center West Halls in Orlando, Florida.
The session is titled “Modernizing Steam Turbines for Improved Efficiency and Life Extension.” The presentation will focus on turbine bypass system performance optimization and elimination of erratic operation from hydraulic actuators. Rich Rochford, REXA’s Power Industry Manager, will present the paper on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, in Room #W307C.
REXA will also demonstrate Electraulic™ Technology in Booth #2842 at Power-Gen International from December 4-6, 2018.
REXA’s unique Electraulic™ Technology is a revolutionary brand of actuation that combines
the simplicity of electric operation, the power of hydraulics, the reliability of solid-state electronics and the flexibility of user-configured control. REXA actuators and drives offer a self-contained, positive-pressure system, with low power consumption, no filters, and no hydraulic power unit.
REXA’s design eliminates frequent maintenance requirements associated with hydraulics, reduces the quantity of oil required in the system by more than 90%, and allows for bio-degradable oil as an option to eliminate any environmental concerns.
